Commission in Private House in Berlin-Wannsee

Christoph Dahlhausen has recently realized a new private commission, installed in a house at the Wannsee, near Berlin. ’Mit Licht Segeln’ in the large staircase playes beautfuly with the sunlight and oscillates between sculpture, object, wall work, light installation and painting.

Materials are acrylic glass and specially produced acrylic brackets (5.5 x 8 m). The title is a word play referring to the sailing boats on the lake in front of the house and the idea to sail driven by the sunlight instead of the wind.
