Kunstmuseum Ahlen

Dahlhausen’s most recent large solo exhibition has opened at Kunstmuseum Ahlen (Westfalen). On three floors the artist show extensively three work series: light works or light installation, bodies and filter works. His large scale light installation Stabilizing Light, Ahlen is site specific and autonomous at the same time. His light works most often combine blue fluorescent light tubes, ordinary steel scaffolding tubes, known from building sites.

In Ahlen Dahlhausen brings this into correspondence with his high glossy car painted aluminium panels form his Bodies series, which reflect the light as well as space and the viewer.
