The Workbox at Schlueter-Systems

Christoph Dahlhausen won the competition for the large art in architecture comission for Schlueter- Systems in Iserlohn.

The concepts relates to the typical orange color used by Schlueter, the international orientation of Schlueter and the fact that Greenwich meridian became as the only world meridian in 1884.

Dahlhausen created a system of 8 thick transparent panes of acrylic glass standing free in the landscape and forming the shape of a typical Schlueter trapezoid.

The orange light projected by the transparent acrylic glass develops an intense dialog with the green grass.
