Unbemanntes Farbobjekt

Unbemanntes Farbobjekt

The most recent public art work by Christoph Dahlhausen is ‘Unbemanntes Farbobjekt’ (= unmanned colour object) in the city of Radevormwald. In the area of the south corner of the market square stands for many years a historically important tree, the so-called peace oak. Invited by the city’s city management, Dahlhausen proposed an accentuation of this place with light art, which is both a work of art and a seat. Now, the tree is surrounded by a round bench in which LED light glass elements are embedded, which gives the place a high attractiveness both during the day, but especially at night.
